A 1940s Cocktail Bar in Borough Yards
Tucked beneath the arches of Borough Yards in London SE1, Cahoots Postal Office brings a new branch of mischief south of the river, just a short stroll from Borough Market and London Bridge station.
Born from the spirited world of the original Cahoots in Soho founded by the Scoundrels themselves, this immersive cocktail bar transforms a forgotten postal depot into a bustling hideaway where telegrams fly, pneumatic tubes rattle overhead and cocktails arrive with precision. Expect vintage interiors, black-market charm and plenty of post-war revelry till lights out.
POSTAL OFFICE
Discover the swinging heart of the Cahoots party network, discreetly tucked behind the shopfront of an old postal office in Borough Yards. Greeted by a suspicious scoundrel posing as a Postie, slip past the overflowing mail counter to uncover a split-level arched hideaway, brimming with interactive ration-smuggling activity.
On the mezzanine, the Dead Letter Depot is a treasure trove of strange mail that never reached its final destination. With forgotten special deliveries and eclectic artifacts wrapping the curved walls, scoundrels can take a break in the Tea Corner, where repurposed telephone switchboards let you eavesdrop on overheard gossip and top-secret dispatches.
FIRST-CLASS COCKTAILS
Whether you’re perched on repurposed mail sack chairs or tucked inside a converted mailroom cart, stamp your choice from our innovative drinks menu at the Postal Office, surrounded by undelivered parcels and curious stacks of lost post.
The Scoundrels have outdone themselves this time, swiping the latest 1940s mail tech to bring you a world-first pneumatic cocktail delivery system. Keep your peepers peeled as top-notch tipples whizz overhead, delivered to your table through a series of air-powered tubes—we call that first-class service, chums!
